Some long-term medicines can now be prescribed for up to 12 months, if it’s clinically safe to do so.

✔️ For stable conditions
✔️ No regular monitoring required
✔️ Annual in-person review still needed

Medicines are still collected every 3 months from the same pharmacy.

It was a pleasure to host the Minister of Health Simeon Brown and Health NZ officials in our Highbrook Medical GP clinic last week as part of the Aotearoa Measles vaccine week campaign. The were grateful to hear the Minister acknowledge the collective effort that General Practice and Primary Care do each and every day to protect our community through our vaccination programmes.
