⚠️ HEAT STROKE WARNING - BE MINDFUL OF DOGS IN CARS ⚠️

It's getting warm out there this week, and vehicle temperatures rise rapidly - even with the windows cracked open.

Within just 10 minutes, the inside of your car can become 10 degrees hotter than the outside temperature. This can very quickly become a dangerous situation for your dog.

Now is the time to get your furry friends SUMMER READY!

Every dog who is vaccinated for Parvo during November goes into the draw to win 12 months supply of BRAVECTO flea treatment.

With many dogs travelling and socialising over the holidays, we tend to see disease spikes over the summer months. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent diseases such as Parvovirus.

3. Tire them out with a walk or play session, and feed them before it gets dark
4. Ensure there's a secure and cozy hiding place for them if they need it

Tips for keeping your pets calm and safe during fireworks season

🏡PREPARE EARLY
❗Check collar and/or microchip details, and update if required
❗Pheromone support like Adaptil or Feliway can be a good investment for anxious pets
❗Secure fences, gates, and doors around your property
❗Bring pets inside before sunset

🎇THE NIGHT OF - create a safe and calm environment
✅Create a safe haven with closed curtains and music or the TV on low volume
✅Have a safe place they can hide in/under if they need to
✅Offer enrichment like calming treats before the noises start
✅Stay neutral and calm yourself, reassure your pet that everything is ok
