Dry Needling vs Acupuncture
Dry needling = a technique.
It’s mainly used by physios/chiropractors to release tight muscles (trigger points). The focus is local muscle anatomy.

TCM acupuncture = a full medical system.
It uses the same style of thin needles but the theory behind it is different: meridians, qi, organ patterns, diagnosis, point combinations, etc.
