Every year, thousands of travellers passing through AKL drop their unwanted currency into our collection globes, never imagining how far those coins might go.
These donations are pooled together and $10K grants are awarded to 12 charities doing great work in the South Auckland community.

Ki Tua o Matariki
Ki Tua o Matariki supports hapū māmā and young parents by providing kaupapa Māori health, cultural and social services focused on a child's crucial first 2,000 days.
Woven Earth
Woven Earth helps family violence survivors rebuild safe, dignified lives by fully furnishing homes for whānau starting again.
PHAB NZ
PHAB empowers people with disabilities through weekly social groups where members choose activities that build skills, confidence and community connection.
Catalytic Foundation
The Catalytic Foundation provides essentials, gifts and practical support to charities working with whānau experiencing hardship.
Orange Sky New Zealand
Orange Sky offers free laundry, showers and kōrero to people experiencing homelessness or hardship, restoring dignity through small moments of care.
Kindness Collective Foundation
The Kindness Collective connects children and families with essentials, food, warmth and moments of joy through its busy Ōtāhuhu hub and Christmas Joy Store.
Kootuitui ki Papakura
Kootuitui ki Papakura works to improve long-term outcomes for young people through education, health, whānau support and financial wellbeing programmes.
Otara Waterways and Lake Trust
Ōtara Waterways and Lake Trust restores and protects streams and lakes across Ōtara and Flat Bush while empowering communities to care for their environment.
Papakura Budgeting Service
Papakura Budgeting Service provides free, expert financial mentoring and advocacy to individuals and whānau facing financial hardship.
Well Women
Well Women supports mothers experiencing antenatal or postnatal anxiety and distress, ensuring no māmā walks their recovery journey alone.
Brainwave Trust Aotearoa
Brainwave Trust shares accessible, research-based knowledge about child and youth brain development to support healthy relationships and learning.
Oke Charity
Oke builds fully equipped outdoor classrooms in primary and intermediate schools, giving tamariki hands-on ways to learn, grow and thrive.
