6–12 October 2025 | Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is a powerful reminder that looking after our mind is just as important as moving our body.

Social connection is vital for our wellbeing. It brings purpose and a sense of belonging to our lives, helps us feel valued, and makes us happier and more secure.

Being active isn’t just important for our physical health - it’s one of the most effective ways to lift our mood.

Moving our body can ease stress and anxiety, promote relaxation, and build emotional resilience. And when we move alongside whānau and/or friends, it strengthens our bonds, boosts motivation, and makes the experience even more rewarding.

In the spirit of connection, we’re inviting all ReDefined members to bring a friend who could use a moment to pause, move and reconnect to any PM class this week, including our Rest & Restore session on Sunday, 12th October.

Move with purpose. Connect with kindness.

Sometimes, the smallest gesture can make the biggest difference. A simple text, an invite, or moving side by side might be exactly what someone needs.

This Spring, it’s time to supercharge your habits and health!

Join us for a 28-Day Heart Strong Reboot - a challenge designed to strengthen your heart, build consistency, and boost your energy levels!

Your Challenge:

✅ Complete a minimum of 20 sessions in 28 days here at ReDefined

✅ Hit 10,000 steps daily OR complete 60 minutes of additional light exercise (walking, cycling, etc.) - Log Daily

✅ Follow Cardio-Metabolic Nutrition Guide throughout the challenge (From our head of nutrition Kylie White)

✅ Aim to sleep a minimum of 7 hours per night - log daily

✅ Drink plenty of water each day - log daily

✅ Track your energy levels before and after the challenge to gauge how far you have come!

The Prize: We have a $500 gift pass ready for the winner! (Drawn from all successful challenge finishers)

To qualify, you’ll need to complete at least 20 sessions AND log your healthy habits daily for a minimum of 22 out of the 28 days.

How to Register:

- The challenge is FREE for all members.

resilience, and lifelong healthy habits.

Our Youth Program goes beyond movement, offering mentorship that supports growth in mind, body, and everyday life.

• Tuesdays: Boxing (4:00 pm)
• Thursdays: Functional Strength (4:00 pm)
• $12.50 per session, or $23 for both

Here's a little about CJ - our Head of Strength & Conditioning:

CJ’s background in the fitness industry spans over eight years as a Personal Trainer, Head Coach, Business Owner, and Gym Manager, where he has worked with everyday clients through to professional athletes.

Alongside that, he has coordinated youth mentoring programs, using sport and fitness as a vehicle for growth, discipline, and confidence.

ReDefined Health, Movement and WellBeing is a custom built holistic wellbeing hub, located in in Papamoa, Tauranga. Launched in September 2020 with a goal of being New Zealand’s leading Health, Fitness and Wellness offering.

OUR PUPOSE: “Redefining the health and fitness industry in New Zealand by bringing a mix of science and energy together under one roof. Giving people the tools to learn, grow and empower themselves towards health, happiness and longevity”

Co Founders Jimmy and August and Ben Jackson are industry leading health and fitness professionals, and are thoughts leaders in innovation and getting our members RESULTS! The core of our offering is our unique “3 studios/1 membership model”

1. PERFORMANCE STUDIO - Hosts the latest, and most innovative fitness training techniques- including HIIT, HIRT, MetCon, cross training, combat training, and athletic conditioning. With a new class being run daily, this studio will test the limits of human performance, through an emphasis on functional movement patterns
