LOVE, LASSOED | Western charm met winter romance in Kristen & Travis’s surprise vow renewal at Willows Ranch — what began as a winter styled shoot at Willows Ranch with some amazing Northland vendors, turned into a day to remember!

Kristen & Travis arrived as our “models” — What Kristen didn’t know? Behind the scenes, her closest family had been quietly gathering. She thought she was stepping out for the camera… but instead, she was walking straight into her real vow renewal — the wedding moment she’d missed due to Covid.

Kristen’s look came together beautifully with hair by Laurel Stratford Hair, makeup by , a stunning range of gowns from No. 10 Bridal, and florals by Wild Ivy Floral Boutique— all captured perfectly by Kirsty Joy Creative - Multi-Award Winning Portrait & Wedding Photographer.

I designed black & gold Western Glam stationery that felt right at home on the ranch: matte black card, metal tones, drawing inspiration from decorative ranch shirts — a little bit saloon, a little bit sunset.

From save the date to invitations, menus, a leather bar signage, and seating charts, custom silk-screened bandanas, unique handmade napkins, a map illustration with watercolour drawings of the venue - every piece echoed the wild west while still feeling elegant and timeless.

So grateful to have been part of a day that started as a creative project and became a celebration of love, resilience, and family - what a beautiful surprise!

TONI & RAY WEDDING | Still thinking about Toni & Ray’s wedding at Dockside Restaurant & Bar in Wellington.

I created their wedding stationery, menus, bar signs and seating chart, all designed to reflect a botanical, forest-inspired feel that tied in beautifully with the waterside setting and lush florals, keeping the look fresh, natural and elegant — with soft greens, earthy tones and clean details throughout.

Beautiful photos by Wesley Johnson Photography captured it all perfectly. Such a dreamy day.
