Wellington has moved into Alert Level 4. We are still open and can do telephone and virtual consultations, or see you in the carpark if needed. Your problem doesn't need to be urgent. We can still do prescriptions as usual. Smears and immunisations and medical examinations will need to be rescheduled for now. If you have cold and flu symptoms, please stay home and ring Healthline (0800 358 5453) or ring us on 939 1299 for advice on being tested. You may be offered a COVID-19 test. Please say Yes To The Test, the test is free. Continue to keep track of where you have been by using the NZ Tracer app.

For Covid swab testing, please ring Manuka Health Centre on 939 1299, as we have increased our capacity for swabs and will hopefully able to fit you in. Otherwise the local CBAC centres are Hutt Valley 576 8619 and Wellington 0800 885 022.

Kia Kaha and stay safe everyone.

Kia ora everyone.

We have a duty of care to keep patients and our staff safe.

Manukas admin team will call all patients that have appointments for the next 3 days in the morning from 8am onwards.

The principles of Alert Level 2 are:

💚 We reassure you general practice is still available for our patients

💚 We will offer mainly video and telephone consultations. Face to face appointments will be for acute issues.

💚 In-person visits will be screened by our clinicians.

💚 Maintain physical distancing procedures within the surgery. In particular, patients with respiratory symptoms need to be separated from non-respiratory within the practice, maintain meter separation in waiting rooms.

💚 Make sure to wash your hands, wear a mask if you can into the surgery.

If we can beat this once we can do it again but we have to work together to keep our most vulnerable safe.

Kia kaha.
