We’re excited to welcome Dan Moore to the team at Optimal Physiotherapy Clinic.

With over 23 years of experience, Dan is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. He studied physiotherapy at Auckland University of Technology (2000–03) and completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath in 2013.

Dan spent 10 years working in professional rugby, gaining extensive experience in high-performance sport and elite injury management. Whether you’re an athlete or just wanting to stay active and pain-free, Dan brings expert knowledge and a practical, hands-on approach to rehab.

We’re pleased to announce that Mr Joe Baker, Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon from Midlands Orthopaedics, will be consulting from Optimal Physiotherapy as a satellite clinic.

Mr Baker specialises in the assessment and surgical management of both adult and paediatric spinal conditions, including:

I’m incredibly proud to be introduced as the Physiotherapist for the Senior Kereone Rugby Team for the 2026 season.
Kereone Rugby Club has been part of the Morrinsville community for over 100 years, and to now be supporting the club in this role feels very special. The club’s history, values, and connection to local families is something that truly sets it apart.
This role also marks a long-awaited return for me personally. I was lucky enough to pull on the Kereone jersey for a season in my youth, and it feels full-circle to now be back supporting the team from the sidelines.
What makes this even more meaningful is knowing this is the club my children will grow up with, learn from, and proudly play for in the years ahead.
Looking forward to being part of a great club, supporting the players, and contributing to another chapter of Kereone Rugby’s proud history 💙🏉

We’re thrilled to welcome Bridgette back to Morrinsville as the newest member of our physiotherapy team! Born and raised right here, Bridgette is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped her.

After gaining over 10 years of private practice experience—including three years working in Cardiff, Wales—she’s excited to return home and support the people of Morrinsville with her extensive skills in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

With a strong athletic background and experience working with teams such as the University of Waikato Women’s Rugby, St Paul’s Collegiate 1st XV, and the NZ U17 Harlequins, Bridgette brings a wealth of expertise to our region.

Her special interests include post-operative rehabilitation, concussion rehab, BPPV, ACL return-to-sport testing, and osteoarthritis management.

Bridgette’s return is a huge asset to the region, and we’re proud to offer her expertise to our patients.
