My friend recently introduced me to day lilies—and I had no idea these beautiful blooms could also be enjoyed as food! 🌼
In many traditional cuisines, day lily flowers and buds are used much like vegetables, adding colour, texture, and a gentle flavour to dishes. You’ll often find them dried for soups, stir-fries, or used fresh in salads. 🌿

A little reminder: only true day lilies (Hemerocallis) are eaten in food traditions, and some people can be sensitive to them. They shouldn’t be confused with other lilies, which can be toxic—so always use a reliable, food-safe source rather than foraging on your own.

Same but different — my breakfast mantra.

Let’s be real — mornings are busy. I don’t want to think about breakfast. I want to eat it, feel nourished, and move on.

That’s why I keep it simple:
Chia + mixed seed pudding with yoghurt + fruit 🍓

✅ Easy to prep the night before
✅ Enough protein + healthy fats to keep me going until lunch
✅ One less decision in the morning
✅ Always feels a little different depending on the fruit I throw on top

It’s not about fancy recipes. It’s about creating habits that support your body and lifestyle in a sustainable way.

about me..

My journey took me from REIKI, to Massage and Reflexology, and finally to Health Coaching. My love for natural food was fostered early on: my stepdad, struggling with his health issues, would often read the newest research and experiment with diets.

In my twenties, as I learned to care for my own health, I realized that food isn’t everything. I became conscious of how stress, relationships, exercise, sleep and more all influence our gut. Massage and reflexology opened up a new world for me.

Later on, when I had my own kids, I learned how important a holistic conception of health is for people of all ages. My education as a health coach gave me the foundation I needed to combine these different disciplines, and make helping others my life’s work.

I specialise in working with parents and families.
