This year has bought with it a massive & exciting new journey for me 🙏🏽
Huge shoutout to the bro for welcoming me & into his whare 2+ years ago. I am truly grateful for the opportunity, support & the laughs when I’ve needed them most 😂
Thank you to every single person who has supported my mahi & made my days, months & years here in Grey Lynn absolutely fly past!

❇️ Before:
~1 year old Achilles rupture (conservatively treated) struggling with single leg loading.
❇️ After:
6 weeks of exercise rehabilitation over 4 physiotherapy sessions.
✅There is a visible improvement in both muscle definition & heel elevation 🙌🏼 as physios, we can always tell if you’ve been doing your exercises so it’s best to be honest with us & yourselves 👀😂
❇️ It’s never too late to start working on building strength & control after any injury, big or small. If you put in the mahi and do the right exercises, the results will follow 💪🏼
❇️Here are examples of the exercises we’ve worked on so far:
- Pigeon raises (big toe focus)
- Donkey raises
- Calf raise holds at end range
- Up on two feet, down on one
- Single leg raises on flat, progressing to a step
❇️ Up next: return to jump program 🔓🧨

Alofa Physiotherapy clinic has opened and is located inside the Knoxfit Gym on Richmond Road, Grey Lynn. Our Knoxfit Aotearoa whānau have been super supportive in the opening of our onsite physiotherapy clinic.

It's been a busy few months setting up and welcoming new and not so new clients to the clinic.
