Kia ora, nau mai haere mai, welcome to my page on all things speech and language! I'm a specialist speech language therapist with a Bachelor of Speech Language Therapy and a Masters of Science in early language development (both from the University of Canterbury)and have over 20 years experience working with children and their families/whānau. I love understanding how our brains develop language and I have a passion for sharing knowledge and information to best support our children/tamariki. I believe children develop in an environment of people, connections and interactions (Bronfenbrenner!) and the whole community has a role to play in supporting our young people's communication development.
