Five years ago today, Dave and I took over what was once Nails on 5. Since then, we’ve renamed, renovated, reshaped, and slowly turned it into something that reflects my true passion — skin health and meaningful, results-driven care.
We’ve done all of this on the tiniest budget, in one of the most expensive commercial areas in the world. We’ve pushed through Covid (those ripples are still very real), and earlier this year we achieved something I never imagined possible: winning Prologic’s Upcoming Clinic of the Year and the Whānau Award.
There have been incredible highs and some tough lows. The amount of personal growth has been huge — honestly, sometimes overwhelming. I’ve learnt more about myself, how my ADHD brain works, and how to ride that wave without losing the spark that makes Zenith what it is. Some days I feel unstoppable, and other days imposter syndrome hits hard… but we keep going.
And today, we launched our new website — another step toward shaping Zenith into the vision I’ve held in my head for years.
I’m grateful for my incredible team, the wonderful people I’ve met along the way, and, of course, Dave — I couldn’t do any of this without him.
