Botanica Medica is the custodian of land near Raglan on the stunning West Coast of New Zealand, where the air is pure, the soil is fertile and the conditions are very conducive for growing medicinal plants. Many native trees & shrubs have been planted to aid shelter, ecology & biodiversity. The apothecary garden is continually evolving and the land is being cultivated with an appreciation of biodynamic principles. Currently, many of the herbs are supplied from Phytomed, Mediherb or wildcrafted, with an increasing number of herbs being grown and processed fresh on site. It is our vision to grow, harvest and manufacture the majority of the herbs necessary to make our formulas, which will ensure the highest potency, quality, sustainability and traceability of all herbal medicines.
