Super proud of Ralph (Aleatorio) and Tarryn Jones Equestrian this weekend at SJ Canterbury Xmas Cracker.
3rd in 1m Showhunter on Saturday and 2nd in 1m Showjumping Sunday.
Unfortunately he didn't get to start in his 1.10m classes which was a real shame.
We scratched him from SH as a patch of mud fever on back fetlock went raw with sand getting into it causing him discomfort, and a hiccup with entries meant he couldn't do the 1.10m champ SJ class as he had already jumped the 1m SJ champ class, will read the rules next time 🤦‍♀️ hahaha. Anyway Ralph was an absolute superstar all weekend and beautifully ridden as always by Tarryn.✨️✨️✨️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
AND although nobody, especially Ralph 🙈, wants him to go 😢, it's time for Ralph to find his next partnership so drop Tarryn a message if you have any questions 🤔

During this session, at the beginning you can see the mare is telling us where she is uncomfortable, and towards the end you can see her body process the release. Notice the head shake, the soft eyes, and the licking and chewing. These are all signs of relaxation and the nervous system letting go. Horses communicate to us all the time, sometimes we have to stop and listen. Every horse tells us when they’re finding balance again 💖
