Turning Offcuts into Opportunities! 🌱

We visited the PlaceMakers Silverdale branch and teamed up with Bryson to collect timber offcuts that were destined for the skip. Instead of letting them go to waste, we’ve been giving these materials a second life!

From building vegetable garden boxes to repairing toys for the local daycare, these projects are helping our residents stay active, creative, and connected with the community, all while supporting sustainability.

🎉 What a Grand Day Out! 🎉

Last weekend was an absolute blast at Vivid Living Karaka — the sun was shining, the sausages were sizzling, and the smiles were everywhere! From face-painted animals to the coolest balloon creations you’ve ever seen, it was a joy to see grandparents and grandkids making memories together. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the fun, and congrats to Dollin & Alan, who won a luxurious gift hamper to enjoy! We loved hosting you all and can’t wait to do it again 🥳

We are so excited to announce that Vivid Living is proudly supporting The Chase New Zealand! 🎉

Get ready for a battle of brains as Kiwi contestants take on two of the biggest names in quizzing: UK’s legendary Anne Hegerty aka The Governess and Australia’s Issa Schultz aka The Supernerd. With only 16 contestants selected from thousands of hopefuls, the competition is fierce, the questions are packed with Kiwi culture, and the Chasers are ready to defend their titles.

Hosted by the iconic Paul Henry, The Chase NZ kicks off Sunday 3 November at 7.30pm on TVNZ 1 and TVNZ+. We can’t wait to see who will outsmart the Chasers!

Vivid Living Colouring Competition Winner! 🎨

Off the back of proudly sponsoring Karaka School’s Ag Day, we ran a colouring-in competition for the students, and wow, the creativity was incredible!

We’re stoked to announce the winner is Isla, her beautiful and vibrant artwork is so impressive for just 7-years-old! 🖼️ Isla has won a family pass to Rainbow’s End, we hope you have an amazing time making some magical memories!

🐄 Karaka School Agriculture Day – What a Day! 🐥

We had an udderly fantastic time sponsoring Karaka School’s Agriculture Day last Saturday! 🐑🐓 From adorable, well-trained animals to some seriously impressive bird houses, the day was packed with creativity, community spirit, and country charm.

Our Vivid Living team had a blast handing out popcorn and chatting with families. We’ve already received some amazing entries for our colouring-in competition – the talent from these kids is next level! 🎨

A huge thank you to Karaka School for having us – we’re already counting down to next year’s event! 💚

Say hello to Pippa, a charming 8-year-old Pembroke Corgi who stole hearts the moment she trotted into Vivid Living. With her loving, gentle nature and a tail that never stops wagging, Pippa has become a true companion to our residents who adore her! 💛

Whether she’s lounging in the sun or greeting neighbours with a friendly woof, Pippa brings joy and comfort to our community every day. We’re so lucky to have her as part of the Vivid Living whānau.
