🩺 A few helpful reminders about appointments at Rolleston Central Health
To help us provide the best care possible, all consultations at Rolleston Central Health are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked online or by calling our reception team.
Standard appointments are 15 minutes and are for one health issue per visit. If your concern is more complex or you have multiple things to discuss, your clinician may ask you to book a follow up appointment so everything can be addressed properly.
Some services require longer appointments or are not offered by all clinicians. Please call reception to book for:
• Contraceptive implants and devices (IUD, Mirena, Jadelle)
• Minor surgery
• Insurance medicals or forms
• Travel appointments
We also keep same day appointments available for urgent or acute issues. These do fill quickly at busy times, so please phone reception as early as possible.
🤧 Feeling unwell?
If you have cold or flu like symptoms, please do not enter the clinic. Instead, call reception and you will be booked into our separate respiratory clinic if you need to be seen.
⏰ Running late or can’t attend?
Please call ahead if you’re running late. If you are five minutes or more late, the appointment may be marked as a non attendance. Missed appointments without at least three hours’ notice may incur a non attendance fee.
Where possible, we encourage patients to see their regular clinician, as continuity of care leads to better long term health outcomes. Booking early, especially for routine visits or repeat prescriptions, can help make this easier.
Finally, we’re proud to provide friendly, caring, and supportive health care. We ask that all patients treat our staff with respect. We have a zero tolerance policy for abusive or aggressive behaviour.
