WILSON, Peggy Ann (née Wedding)
Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 25th December 2025. Loved wife of the late Barry. Dearly loved Mum of Kim, Jo and her husband Sean. Treasured Nana Peg to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kim's children
-Alexander, his wife Joanna and their children Micah and Aurelia
-Jaina (Peggy with the help of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, got guardianship over Jaina. Jaina and Aurora had been friends since they were 7yrs old)
-Aurora, her husband Darryl and their child Lincoln (Peggy passed away too soon to meet their unborn child but she was stoked to hear that one of her final wishes were being fulfilled, Lincoln was getting a sibling)
-Athena and her husband Thomas
-Antarés
Jo's children
-Jade, her husband Jesse and their child Kolbe
-Zaya
Peggy also kept in touch with Roland (Alexander's dad) and Hilke, who were exchange students that she and Barry looked after.
Peggy and Barry had massive hearts and would accommodate any family or friend who needed a place to go to.
Christmas Day was a bit of a fitting day for Nana to pass away because it had always been her day to do the things she loved, be with family and friends, put on a massive feed for everyone, spoil all the kids and invite over anyone who didn't have anywhere to go for Christmas Day (she always had a few boxes of chocolates wrapped up for any last minute and unexpected guests)
A Private cremation will be held followed by a memorial service at The Rotorua Travellers Club (CT Club) on Tuesday, 30th December at 11am.

As the holiday season approaches, many of us look forward to time with family and moments of joy. But for those grieving the loss of a loved one, this time of year can feel especially heavy.
At Osbornes, we understand how deeply loss can be felt during these moments that used to be shared. Whether it’s the empty seat at the table or a tradition that now feels different, grief doesn’t take a break for the holidays.
If you or someone you know is finding this season difficult, bereavement support is available—because healing takes time, and support makes all the difference.
