Kiwi avoidance Training for dogs Saturday 26th July
Kiwi avoidance training for dogs is one tool that can help reduce the threat dogs pose to kiwi in the wild, the best way to protect keii is to keep dogs out of kiwi habitat altogether. However Kiwi avoidance training can be a useful tool for dog owners to deter their dogs from injuring or killing a kiwi if they do get into areas where they live.
I have organised for Lesely, a trained kiwi avoidance trainer to come to Russell and hold a workshop for us. This will be on Saturday 26th July at the Predator Free grounds on Matauwhi road. This will be free of charge, but we would ask that everyone brings some koha as a thank you and to help pay for vehicle and ferry costs.

I highly recommend this app for anyone and everyone. It's actually directed at older adults to help with balance and fall prevention. . . . But most of us could use it! It uses exercises for balance with brain and memory tests to really get your grey matter working!
