Our residents have been busy bees this week!

There’s been so much fun and laughter as everyone joined in a variety of activities, keeping spirits high and creativity flowing. 💕

A special shoutout to our amazing knitting group 🧶 who have been hard at work making beautiful squares and joining them together to create a stunning blanket! What an incredible display of talent, teamwork, and dedication. Well done, everyone! 👏👏

Fellowship on this wet and cold morning was warmed by the beautiful sound of old-time hymns and heartfelt singing. Together with our whānau and the Presbyterian volunteers, we created a spirit of togetherness and joy that brightened even the greyest skies.

Happy 80th birthday to our ex Sparky, who truly hasn’t lost his spark! His cheeky smiles lit up the room as we celebrated this amazing milestone, surrounded by joy and laughter. Beside him was his loving wife, whose happiness and pride shone just as bright.Happy 80th Birthday, Mr. G! Here’s to many more joyful moments and continued sparks of happiness ahead!

Our Labour Day picnic lunch at KFC turned out to be a heartwarming success, despite the wet and windy weather. Everyone was happy to sit inside, enjoying the cosy atmosphere and delicious meals. The mash and gravy were a big hit, earning plenty of compliments, and laughter filled the room as we shared stories and smiles. Of course, no meal was complete without ice cream, which brought even more joy to the table. We returned home with satisfied residents, full stomachs, and happy hearts a simple outing that created beautiful memories for all.

On good days, we enjoy our daily walks in the fresh air, taking in the beauty of nature and feeling refreshed. Sometimes we go for a relaxing drive, enjoying ice creams while admiring the scenic landscapes of our beautiful Aotearoa. As Christmas approaches, we are getting ready by doing fun crafts and playing games that bring out our creativity and laughter. Each activity is not only enjoyable but also therapeutic, helping us feel calm, joyful, and full of holiday spirit. Together, we make every day brighter as we prepare for a warm and happy Christmas season
