Kia ora e te whānau,
We wanted to share an important update regarding our Waitahanui clinic. After much kōrero, careful consideration, and listening to the needs and preferences of our patients, we have made the decision to base our services permanently at Story Place, Taupō.
To continue supporting our Waitahanui whānau, we will run a nurse-led clinic every second Wednesday from 8am–12pm . Our team will be split across both sites, ensuring that Story Place will continue to operate every week from 8am–4pm, while still providing a dedicated half-day service in Waitahanui fortnightly.
The week of 5 January 2026 will be our final full week based in Waitahanui. From the following scheduled fortnight, our presence in the community will transition to the half-day nurse-led clinics.
We deeply appreciate your patience, understanding, and ongoing trust as we move through this change. Our commitment to your care remains unwavering, and our aroha continues to hold strong connections to this community.
