Tomorrow is my youngest son's 14th birthday, crazy given his birth story
We used to go to a fellowship church in Taupō and this lady was there doing readings. It was a time for me where my spiritual side was quite sleepy so keep that in mind.
The lady came to me and told me to get ready the baby will be here soon...I got a bit offended and told her that I was just fat not pregnant. She was certain the baby was coming and it was my baby.
I left there thinking gee what a weirdo (and also I've predicted lots of babies and heard nope definitely not me when I've told people about a baby lol)
That happened on the Sunday, and then on the Friday my mum got a call asking about a whānau for a baby. Mum had been at fellowship and remembered and said that it must have been about me. So on that Sunday we went and met with a whānau about this little baby who was about to be born. It was via email later that his maternal grandmother asked that I raise their baby, they just wanted to name the baby, and also to be able to see it (gender unknown). I emailed saying thank you for entrusting me with your little taonga.
We were meant to meet up again prior but the following Monday I got a text that birth mama was in labour. My support person Karina (who had sorted it all out) and I headed to Rotorua to meet and pick up the baby.
The rest as they say is history and tomorrow that baby turns 14...and what a ride it has been. He was just talking to me about emotions and how he doesn't think he has any, which is part of his sensory profile. Even tomorrow when he gets all the Lego he requested, there will be little emotion. But that's just our Taonga...and you'll know him by the way he looks at you like he's never seen you in his life lol..
To celebrate Taonga's birthday I have some readings available on Sunday only
