Did you know you can use your microwave for pottery? 🏺⚡ It’s a fun, unique twist on ceramics that you won’t normally see!

RAKU is a pottery firing method that started in Japan centuries ago, where glazed clay pieces are removed from a hot kiln and rapidly cooled, often in combustible materials like sawdust or straw. This dramatic process creates beautiful crackled textures, smoky colours, and one‑of‑a‑kind surfaces that make each piece totally unique! 💨🔥🏺

Fresh out of the kiln and ready for their new homes 🏺💕
Our firing is up to 10th Jan (some pieces from 16–17th are included in this batch).

You can collect your pieces Tue–Sat, 10am–3pm.
We hold all creations for 3 months, and after that, any pieces still waiting will find a new home for a gold coin.

Our Black & White Cat Vase session felt like a little celebration of creativity 🖤🤍

Watching everyone shape their cats with two different clays — the soft contrast of black and white — was pure joy. Each vase carried its own personality, its own story 🐾✨

Now they’re resting in the studio, waiting for us to add the magic that brings them fully to life 🔥✨
