As you gain a deeper understanding of your menstrual cycle, you can begin to live “in flow” and coordinate your movement, food and lifestyle practices to best nourish your body, mind and energy. Weaving the rhythms of your days around the phase of the cycle you are experiencing will help your days move with more ease and give you greater compassion and understanding on how and why your physical, emotional and mental body’s are behaving or reacting the way they are.
For example, living in flow with your cycle will guide you to the best phases to schedule your work, whether this be creating, planning, doing, reflecting. Often knowing that you have a more creative phase coming just around the corner can help you to schedule your more creative tasks or projects during this time instead of getting frustrated about why your creative juices just are not flowing right now. Same with finding that laser focus to knock off that to do list or finding the inner space and awareness to reflect on the outcomes or future desires of a project or goal.
