The last of our Takitimu Waka Taua trainings before Waitangi is now this Sunday down at Wairoa River from 8am to midday.

In preparation for this weekend's wānanga it's important that if you are attending on the 16th and 17th at Tutereinga marae that you fill in the form. ( Link below )

The purpose of the form is to

- Register.
- Collate information for our sponsors.
- Keep a record of those who attended.

Saturday 16th November
Meet at 7.30pm at Tutereinga Marae for hoe maroke and waka briefings.

What to bring:
- Bedding if planning to stay the night
- Baking, fruit for supper

Sunday 17th November,
Paddle to Sulphur Point from Waipa at 6.30 for launch.
Wāhine to meet at Sulphur Point by 8am as Manawa Kuaka will already be there.
Waka kopapa ceremony and launch 9am.

Return to Tutereinga Marae following proceedings. Kai provided for late lunch.

Please be aware that the weather is looking like it'll be wet this weekend so prepare for that but everything will be going ahead as planned unless a call is made from our Takitimu Kaitiaki and Kaihautu.
