Keto Adaptation describes the body's ability to convert fat to energy. It’s a state in which your body burns fat for fuel instead of carbs. Muscle is spared and fat is burned.

Once you’ve become ‘fat adapted’, you don’t need to eat carbs (glucose) to give you energy through the day. Instead, you can tap into a more abundant source of energy, which is fat.

This is the most desirable state for your body. Fat adaptation decreases cravings and hunger. And it gives you increased energy (among many other benefits).

Remember, you can only have ONE source of fuel - carbs OR fat. You can’t have both.
