Our WAVES support group is coming back in 2026, kicking off on the 2nd of February. Each Monday for eight weeks, we'll come together and create a village of those who understand what it is you're going through. WAVES is designed to help you understand and manage your grief, build resilience, and find hope in the face of profound loss.

It was a privilege to visit Tauranga Foodbank today to deliver donations from some of our families who we have cared for. We would like to sincerely thank all the people who have dropped donations in and the ones who attended our Christmas services and brought non perishable items with them. It is heartwarming to see that kindness is still very much alive even in times of grief and we appreciate you thinking of others. 💖Tauranga Foodbank - thank you for the incredible work you do and the huge difference you make to families particularly at this time of year. We are so very grateful. 💞

Tonight we shared together a time of reflection and remembrance by lighting a candle in honour of our loved ones. We were privileged to have our talented harpist Margaret to provide healing background music for the service led by Craig Capamagian. Thank you both for capturing the essence of a truly special evening. Thank you to Olive Tree Catering for the delightful refreshments and to all who made a generous donation to the Tauranga Foodbank 💖

Today we held another Christmas Service at a very welcoming residential care facility. The residents enjoyed the sparkle of traditional Christmas songs and uplifting Christmas story followed by the sweetest locally picked strawberries and chocolate Christmas slice from Olive Tree Catering. We were then very grateful to be spoilt with a huge Christmas lunch shout with all the trimmings from Lisa at Olive Tree. A great day had by all to begin the festive season. December is our month to remember and honour loved ones with our Christmas Candlelighting and Remembrance Services beginning last night at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Katikati. It was a beautiful evening accompanied by the very talented St Peter’s singing group. Thank you to the attendee for kindly sharing your photos of the candles and thank you to St Peter’s Anglican Church for having us again. It is a privilege to provide support and comfort to the local community at a time of year that can be very difficult for grieving families.
Today we had the pleasure of providing our Christmas Service to the residents of Summerset by the Sea. We were very impressed with the singing. 🥰
