Mindful eating, I believe, is more than just eating without distraction from your phone or the TV.

It's about bringing awareness and gratitude to all the energy from all of nature and all of the people that made your meal possible.

And I always give gratitude to myself too. For the energy I put into making the meal. For planting it, harvesting it, catching it, but even then, nature still helped to get it onto my plate.

So next time you practice mindful eating... take it a little step further... how did that food get to your plate? Who or what other energy made it manifest?

Black ombre onto any colour is always tricky, but i simply love the end result, so I am always up for the challenge.
