Yes, the Market is ON 🌧️

We know this wild weather has been a bit of a ride —
power outages, trees down, plans turned upside-down.
It’s been a tough few days for so many in our neighboring communities. 💚

But tomorrow we’ll be there — set up, anchored down, and ready.
The forecast is showing a calmer morning and around 12° later on with some wind… the kind we can work with.

If you’re able to get out and about, come say hi, warm up with some friendly faces, and support our local makers and growers. 🌿✨

A Tribute to Rata 🌿🐾 Our hearts are heavy 😥
Today we said goodbye to our beautiful old Black Lab, Rata 💔. Many of you will know her name — she’s the heart behind Rata & Smudge. She inspired the name of our business, and her spirit will continue to be part of everything we do 🌿💜.

Rata was family ❤️ She started as our son’s girl, but when they moved to Australia in 2020, she stayed with us and became the heart of our home 🏡
She loved life — duck hunting, chasing sticks and rabbits, keeping possums away, and never missing a crumb 🍖🐾. Her loyalty and warmth inspired everything we do here.

Like the roots of the Rata tree 🌳, our love for her ran deep and kept us connected to family.
Rest easy, big girl 💜🌸🐾
