💪 Sports Team FITNESS Sessions!
For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting school sports teams to build strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness — all with the goal of improving performance on the court, turf, and field.
🚣This is the second of two rowing groups from Craighead Diocesan School, Timaru NZ Rowing that I work with during the rowing season, alternating squads each week. Tuesday marked their first session for 2026 and they brought great energy, focus, and effort…. absolutely nailing it.

I am a Mum to four amazing children Mackenzie 10yrs, Isabelle 9yrs, Jonty 7yrs and Will 10months. I am married to Dylan and we live in Timaru, New Zealand!
I have been heavily involved in Health and Fitness for the past 17 years. Initially, I was in Education where I spent four years at University training and then teaching Physical Education, Health, Science and Biology at Secondary Level. After having my three oldest children, I then entered the Health and Fitness industry where I spent 5 years as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Les Mills Group Fitness Instructor and also designed and instructed exercise classes specific for those aged over 65 years in both the water and on land. I then entered full time work again where I was a Director of Sport at a very highly sort after Secondary School here in Timaru before resigning leading up to the birth of Will.
Since having my fourth child, my desire to motivate, educate, inspire and support others to improve their Health and Wellness has been taken to the next level, as I launched my two groups “Self-Love” and “Move to Improve” under my business Motivating Mums on May 1st 2020.
“Self-Love” is a private group designed around both the mental and physical aspect of your Wellbeing. It is through this group where I give my clients the tools to review and improve their own lifestyle. My goal is for my clients to create a healthy, happy and MAINTAINABLE lifestyle, one where they; create a healthy relationship with food, eat a balanced diet with no food groups eliminated, participate in regular exercise, develop a positive mindset, learn to LOVE themselves and become comfortable in their own skin. This comes down to choices, choosing to become the BEST version of themselves by utilising the tools, knowledge, ideas and motivation that I offer.
“Move to Improve” is a private group where I instruct LIVE 10-20min daily workouts, sessions are either CORE, Low Impact or High Impact. My focus is to ensure the understanding around the correct technique and educate my clients around the movements, as I provide support, encouragement and inspiration to my clients who are of various ages, gender and abilities. If we are moving we are improving!
Like I mentioned above, I have had experience with developing and delivering exercise classes to those over 65yrs. I missed this contact and connection with this age group, so in June 2020 I launched ‘Golden Groovers” where twice a week here in Timaru at No.5 George Street I take classes covering flexibility, balance, strength, cardio and pelvic floor strength. These are super FUN and social, followed by a coffee and muffin up the street afterwards.
My life experience and positive outlook filters through into my groups. I have passion and drive to help those who wish to improve their wellness and take it to the next level!
