A bit chaotic this week sorry. Several of our staff have C19 so will be away till late next week. This means that we are operating at a very basic level and seeing urgent or essential cases only in the meantime and deferring the rest for a couple of weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience. Paul.

Back to Level 2 from tomorrow so we will be back in the office seeing patients. We have a lot to catch up on so please be patient as we prioritise and get back in touch to redo missed appointments. We are looking forward to some kind of normal again! In the meantime if you have a problem please give us a call.

Back into house arrest again. Sorry guys no patients will be able to be seen till next week at the earliest. We are especially sad for those of you who have been waiting to get braces removed or due to get them on. As soon as we can we will make every effort to get you sorted. Be very careful with your braces as we are unable to attend to any difficulties you may have over the next few days. Lets hope it won't be too long. Best wishes Paul and staff.

Thanks to all our lovely patients for being so patient during this long delay. We will be back seeing our under treatment people from Thursday. Till then we will be sorting out our smashed appointment schedule and figuring out the priorities.
If you have an urgent concern or there is something bothering you please leave a message on our answerphone (6884771) and we will attend to your issue. Because of the lockdown and the delay in treatment there will be some minor problems that have arisen and an unavoidable extension of treatment times. We will also have to make some adjustments to the way we work from now on. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Covid-19 Level 3 Update

Last evening the Dental Council of NZ sent out guidelines for our practice as we transition into Level 3. Unfortunately for our practice there is effectively no change. They have instructed us to continue to suspend all non essential and elective dental services (including orthodontics) during Alert Level 3.

We do appreciate your patience during this time. In the meantime enquires regarding orthodontic appliance problems should be directed to your family dentist who can direct you to a rostered emergency dentist if necessary. Messages left on our answerphone will be used to prioritise appointments when we return to work. Keep well and we look forward to seeing you soon.

We apologise that we are unable to see any patients under the current Level 4 situation. We are not rated as an essential service! and patient visits have been prohibited. This is under review and we are waiting on notification from the Ministry of Health and the Dental Council of NZ. In the meantime this doesn't help you if you are having a problem with your orthodontic appliance or retainer. Your best option is to contact the on call emergency dentist to see if they can arrange to help. As soon as we are allowed back seeing patients we will be sorting out any issues as quickly as we can so leave us a message on our answer phone on 6884771. Eat carefully and keep those teeth clean and healthy.
