Bit of housekeeping ahead…

With there still being a few shows left of the year and bookings flying in for the SI Premier Show just wanted to note a few things.

Payment is to be made on the day in cash or prior via bank transfer. I don’t have the time to be chasing payments. I am happy to provide an invoice receipt.

Please let me know prior if your horses mane isn’t pulled and you need me to pull it. I do charge extra and it does take me longer, when I have a full day of plaiting I don’t always have time to fit this in.

Any special requests please also touch base with me prior I will always do what I can to accomodate.

As always thank you to my loyal clients and I look forward to meeting new ones.

Just a few photos from Amberley A&P and this past weekend. Some results from a lovely repeat client from Amberley where I did its forelock, tail and a couple false plaits.

This lovely black mare was another happy client that I plaited while the owner was busy at work. I’m now up in Auckland at the Ready to Run sales and I will be back for Friday and Saturday of show week if anyone needs a hand. Also taking bookings for Courtney A&P.

It feels like tail plaits are making a comeback and as much as my hands disagree I love the look of them. I remembered to get a pic of these 2 that I prepped for Amberley A&P today.

I also love receiving photos, feedback and hearing about how your day goes. So thankful to have a lovely client send me these pictures of her guy and their results from Ashburton A&P.

Great weekend at Rangiora A&P. Very lucky the weather was on our side for Friday and Saturday. A big thank you to all my lovely clients this weekend and congratulations to you all, if anyone has any photos from the weekend please drop them in the comments.

I juggled leading my own mare at her first show and led a lovely wee Gypsy Cob X too. Six tails plaited this weekend, quarter markers and makeup.

If you are in need of anything for Ashburton or Amberley A&P don’t be afraid to get in touch as I still have limited available.

Severe weather and prepping for an A&P definitely don’t work as easily hand in hand. So I just wanted to pop on and let anyone know that I can help be an extra set of hands to help keep things safe and moving whether that be plaiting or washing. I know I’m lucky and have very quiet horses and am in a location that is easily manageable.

From everything I have seen the weather is due to die off mid/late afternoon so I am also happy to work into the night to help too.

Any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out and I hope everyone stays safe out there.

Great start to the show season with Ellesmere A&P. Lovely seeing regular clients and meeting new ones too. I hope everyone competing had a great day today and good luck to all those there tomorrow.

I still have a couple of free spots for Rangiora A&P next weekend. I don’t just plait, I can cover all needs with clipping, mane/tail dying, makeup, quarter markers etc.

Another thing I would like to note is if anyone is time poor or needs an extra hand I am available to wash/prep on your behalf. I have a lovely regular client I go to and deal with her beautifully behaved mare solo and I’m more than happy to help out in that way too.

Hey Team,

It’s been a hot minute so thought I would come on here and say I am back in full swing from now until the end of the year I have my books open. As I do this alongside breeding season (Twin Blues Stud) there are limited spaces available but I do my very best to cater to everyone’s needs.

Based in North Canterbury I keep my prices as affordable as possible and travel Canterbury wide, as far south as Ashburton if there is enough interest.

I have a larger amount of experience in the show ring, including to HOY level. I have groomed internationally and with breeding/producing all our own horses I have an abundance of experience with youngstock. I regularly turnout and handle sales stock here in NZ and Australia so you know you are in safe hands.

Gore gymkhana first event very well behaved. Enjoyed games at his pace. SJ amazing. He also has extensive hacking experience over farmland and at the beach. Apache has trekked majority of his life but has spent the last 2 years looking after a new rider who has moved onto hacks, he is ready to take a new rider on adventures. He does need more schooling on the flat and over fences but shows promise.

Although he is a safe and reliable chap he would be best suited to someone intermediate and above that wants to dabble in a bit of everything.

Hey guys,

A lot of changes have been happening here, due to a change in circumstances I am based down in Wyndham. In the Spring we will be standing 2 stallions for the season at this stage. Twin Blues Golden Legacy and Twin Blues Kings Saviour, they will be standing at our stud in Greta Valley.

With an exciting young team of horses due to make an appearance in the spring I’m going to open the doors for one schooler. I will be offering flat schooling at this stage, breaking or life experience. With hundreds of acres of farmland to ride over anyone wanting to send their horse for fitness or abit of life experience feel free to flick me a message.

Blake needs to find his new person. He will be making his way back to CHCH tomorrow and will not be available for the same price.

Last night he played baby sitter and took a complete beginner put on a hack to the beach and was a superstar, bush bashing and didn’t put a foot wrong. Would make a good trekking horse.
