Unacceptable, slow or no communications from ACC certainly add to these timeframes...causing unnecessary stress and frustration to people already suffering.

We're not saying "I told you so", but we can't say were surprised that 2 years after replacing experienced professional case managers with a cheaper call centre system, ACC is now in so much trouble for unprofessional behaviour and an awful lack of service.

ACC says it is too soon to talk about job losses but more should be known by early next year.

ACC is proposing to cut its medical advisors by 20 per cent and increase its psychology and allied clinical advisors in a proposed restructuring of its clinical advisory services released yesterday.
