🙂Yes, I did this pastel drawing myself, I always look at it and think, "strong like a lion".
I love my body and mind being strong, I love to exercise and support people in feeling the same way.
🙂Stretching helps to keep me strong, and we should all be doing it daily. Stretching lengthens the muscles, reducing tension and stresses which can lead to spasms, which in turn causes fatigue and overcompensation of other muscle groups, until eventually possible injury occurs.

🙂Remember to stick to your lifestyle of exercising with consistency.
Over many years as a trainer and also very much a rehab movement trainer, I see people doing the hard yards and coming out the other end to enjoy better daily living.
Keep up with your movement, it is worth it.

🙂If you think exercise is too expensive, a program or intervention of movement is too time consuming to help your mind and body, consider the alternative, loss of functional capacity, financial loss, time taken sitting in doctors’ rooms, missing out on family celebrations, unable to go to work, or simply just meeting friends.

🙂Bottom line we all need physical fitness and need to value it and make it a priority. A band aid is not the solution, not all medicines in a pill form can solve health issues, only exercise can do it. I believe we need to view movement as essential to our bodies and it doesn’t need to be overly strenuous.

A friendly reminder and I cannot stress this enough to my members, stretch for a few minutes after your walks.

🫀It will ease muscle tension, release that tension you have built up in your muscles from doing the walk, it will increase blood flow, which aids repair and recovery, improve joint flexibility and reduce stiffness, which can lead to aches and pains.

💪🏼It should be a priority in my view.

Yes, but form is the focus. Correct technique and control, with progressive loading is imperative.
Kettle bells are effective tools for building glute strength, promoting new tendon growth and healing, with an increase of joint stability.
