Fifth tip - having solid habits and systems in place for your nutrition and exercise is always going to be better than relying on discipline alone. Set things up to make it as easy as possible for yourself ☺️

Fourth tip - don’t wait until you feel motivated to start, try and just start anyway 🙃 Then momentum and motivation will naturally build from there.

Third tip - when it comes to exercise, always start with less then increase from there. 8,000 or 10,000 steps - start with 8k. x3 or x4 workouts a week - start with x3. You don’t get any gold stars for the exercise you didn’t do ⭐️

Second tip - don’t go “all in” on whatever you decide to do. This will inevitably lead you to being “all out” further down the track, then you will find yourself back where you started. No one can be perfect for an entire year 🙃

First tip of the week - think about your nutrition and exercise in terms of years, not just months or weeks. Whatever changes you make now to get results, you need to KEEP doing, not just do for a month then stop 😬

Resharing our traffic light system which is very relevant for this time of year 🟢🟠🔴
There are always going to be times to do more, and times to do less. Your nutrition and exercise can't always be your number one priority. You can't always be going hard and you actually shouldn't always be going hard.
Introducing …. the traffic light system 🚦
We are going to be making a conscious decision to be in either a red, orange or green 'zone' with your health. This can be extremely helpful and empowering.
A lot of people treat identifying as all-in or all-out as a point of pride—a personality trait, even an identity. But when it comes to nutrition and exercise, it’s actually one of the most detrimental mindsets you can have 🧠
