Sometimes we don’t realise how much we’ve been holding… until we finally let it go.

Sometimes the smallest movements create the biggest shifts.

When we think about healing or processing emotions, we often imagine big breakthroughs or dramatic releases.
But the body doesn’t always work that way.

Often what it needs is gentle movement.
Small increments.
Tiny shifts that slowly help things move through the system.
A deep breath.
Rolling the shoulders.
Stretching the spine.
A short walk.
Shaking out the arms or legs.

These simple movements help signal to the nervous system that it is safe to release what it has been holding.
Feelings that seem “stuck” are often just energy that hasn’t been able to move yet.

Movement helps circulation, supports the lymphatic system, and encourages the body to process what it has been carrying - physically, emotionally and energetically.

It doesn’t have to be big or complicated or for long periods of time.
Small, consistent moments of movement can gently help your system come back into balance.
Sometimes healing begins with something as simple as allowing the body to move again.

Sometimes the things we quietly wish for really do begin to unfold.

Last year I really started feeling a yearning to travel more. A longing for a little more movement, a little more exploration, a little more space to experience life outside of my everyday routine.

And now this year with several little trips planned, I realise thats its actually happening
It’s a beautiful reminder that the seeds we plant, can grow.

What we desire isn’t always as far away as it feels, little by little the path starts opening.

Healing doesn’t always arrive in big, dramatic moments.

More often it happens quietly, in small increments that you may not notice at the time.

A shift in the way your body breathes.
A little more space in your chest.
A moment where something that once triggered you… simply doesn’t.

Then one day you realise the weight of that particular memory or experience is no longer sitting on you the same way.
It may still be part of your story, but it no longer carries the same emotional charge.

When the nervous system has been overwhelmed for a long time, it can only process things in small, gentle steps.
It needs stability, safety, and grounding before it can begin to unravel the layers that have been holding everything together.

Healing is often about creating enough safety for your system to slowly soften, release, and rebalance.

This is why my Embodied Soul Massage can be such a beautiful place to begin.

The nervous system and lymphatic system are getting a lot of attention online right now.

Not because they’re a trend…
But because for so long they were overlooked.

For years the focus has been on muscles, symptoms, and “fixing” pain - yet underneath it all, your nervous system is running the show, and your lymphatic system is responsible for clearing, draining, and supporting your body’s natural detox and immune processes.

When these systems aren’t supported, everything feels harder.
You can feel wired and tired.
Puffy and inflamed.
Stuck.
Anxious.
Heavy in body and mind.

This is why they are such a strong focus in my sessions.
I offer a specialised lymphatic massage that works to encourage flow, reduce stagnation, and support your body’s natural rhythms.
And even though I’ve done extensive learning around the nervous system, I’m stepping into another 50-hour practitioner training later this year.

Full body massage - 60mins vs 90mins

When people book a full body massage for one hour, it can sound like plenty of time — but in reality, it’s actually quite tight.

Here's a couple of things to think about -

In a full body massage, time needs to be shared between the back, neck, shoulders, décolletage, face, head, front and back of legs, stomach, arms, hands and feet. That is a lot of area to cover.

Also take into consideration time for consultation, getting on and off the table, turning over, and settling into each position, the hands-on time can become even shorter.

If you have specific spots or areas that require extra care - tight shoulders, a sore lower back, tired legs etc an hour can feel a bit rushed.

One hour is good for those who have massage regularly, and have it more as a maintenance session, good for those who are a little bit pushed for time or just want an overall 'body sweep' to touch on each area.

A 90-minute full body massage allows space to slow down. It gives time for the nervous system to settle, for layers of tension to soften, and for focused areas to receive the attention they deserve, without sacrificing the rest of the body.

If you truly want a complete, unhurried experience, I highly recommend booking 90 minutes for a full body massage.

Creating space in your world isn’t a luxury
It’s what allows you to keep showing up for everything and everyone that matters.

When your wellbeing is supported, you have capacity.
Capacity to think clearly.
To respond instead of react.
To work, parent, love, create, and handle what life asks of you.

But when you’re burnt out and exhausted, everything starts to wobble.
Your patience shortens.
Your body tightens.
Your mind fogs.

And eventually, it all comes to a crashing halt.
We often wait until we’re running on empty before we pause… but what if we created space before the breakdown?
