A fabulous evening celebrating some great achievements. We also got to celebrate two of our own who have completed the Diploma in Funeral Directing. Upskilling is crucial in our industry, enabling us to continue providing exceptional care and service to all our families who rely on us.

Congratulations to Sara Madders and Antionette Younger 😊

🚙🚖A Gentle Reminder for All Road Users 🚐🚗

Lately, there has been an increase in drivers trying to cut through or push into funeral processions — often between the hearse and the grieving family members following behind. 🛣

While we do encourage those in the procession to turn their headlights on, many modern vehicles have lights on automatically, making it harder to distinguish a funeral convoy.

Please remember, a funeral procession travels slowly for a reason. It marks someone’s final journey — a moment of deep respect and reflection for the person who has passed and their loved ones.

Being delayed by even a minute or two is a small inconvenience compared to the significance of this moment for the grieving family.

A little patience and understanding on the road can mean a great deal to those saying their final goodbye.🕊

Have you discussed whether you want burial or cremation with your loved ones?
It’s not an easy conversation, but it can bring peace of mind for everyone.
If your time were to come, would they know what you would want?

Taking a few moments to talk about your wishes today can make a world of difference tomorrow.
