My story is not your conventional personal trainer story. I have never been the super active healthy person that I am today. No! I was (at least I thought I was) a normal everyday Kiwi trying to get by each day with very little energy and no motivation. I was always active growing up, played lots of sports, went to the gym often, but I never did any of this with a particular health and well-being goal in mind. In fact, I think I did it just so I could go out for celebration drinks for getting off my backside for a small amount of time.
My health and fitness journey started almost 4 years ago. Fast forward to today, and I am almost 30 kgs lighter, I have way more energy, motivation and enthusiasm for life, and it is good! As a result of this, all I wanna do (is have some fun), is help you create your own journey and reap the benefits that putting yourself first, will bring.
I have experienced many obstacles during my own journey and still do every day. I’m not going to sugar coat it either, you WILL face your own demons. How you decide to face and overcome those obstacles will in part, determine part of our character. Healthy well-being is a life long relationship with yourself. You will learn so much about yourself, your capabilities, your downfalls. The best part of starting a healthy well-being journey, is you WILL find the energy and strength to overcome your downfalls. And when you do, you will find that the world will truly become your oyster.
During our journey together, we will both be learning. About each other, about ourselves. If you are determined to improve your well-being and in turn improve the well-being of your whānau, then I can’t wait to hear from you.
