Did you know you can keep Type 2 Diabetes at bay, with 30 minutes of exercise a day?

It doesn’t have to be in one 30-minute block either, shorter amounts (5 or 10 minute blocks that all add up to at least 30 minutes daily) work just as well!

If you’re looking for some inspo, we have some helpful workout videos that you can complete from the comfort of your own whare or backyard! Karawhiua! 👍

Measles is one of the most infectious diseases known, infecting children as well as adults via breathing, coughing, sneezing or talking.

Measles is highly contagious – up to 90% of whānau who aren’t immune through vaccinations or previously having it, will be infected if they are exposed to the virus.

With Aotearoa now having many confirmed cases and locations of interest, including in Taranaki, please protect yourself and your whānau by getting vaccinated if you haven’t already.

We have a drop-in vaccination clinic happening this Saturday between 10am - 2pm at Hauora ā-Whānau in Ngāmotu (36 Maratahu St) and Whaitara (26 Grey St).

The measles vaccine is free, delivered as part of the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps and rubella).

If you have any pātai, please get in touch with us on 0800 TUI ORA to have a kōrero about how we can help you protect yourself and your whānau.
