Changes to Prescription Lengths

From 1 February 2026, there will be changes to prescription lengths. Some patients may be eligible to receive prescriptions for up to 12 months (instead of the current 3 months), where this is clinically safe and appropriate.

Please note that not all medications are included in these changes. When your next prescription is due for renewal, we recommend booking an appointment with your clinician to discuss your options.
