Tonight, as part of the Global Wave of Light and the final day of Baby Loss Awareness Week (9th–15th October), more than 40 landmarks across Aotearoa will be illuminated in pink (māwhero), blue (kikorangi), and purple (poroporo) to honour and remember all babies lost too soon.

In Wellington, participating landmarks include the Upper Hutt Fantail Welcome Sculpture, Cable Cars, Michael Fowler Centre, Carter Fountain, Woman of Worlds Sculpture, and the Kelburn Park Fountain.

Tonight, to mark the Global Wave of Light and the last day of Baby Loss Awareness Week (9th-15th October), over 40 landmarks across Aotearoa are lighting up māwhero (pink), kikorangi (blue) and poroporo (purple) to remember our precious babies ❤💙💜

Below you will find a list of all the landmarks lighting up and a map link showing the details of each landmark. Thank you so much to the Councils, organisations, and businesses who are raising awareness of pregnancy and baby loss, and acknowledging the whānau in their area who have suffered such a heart-breaking loss.

Our Manager, Brad McAneney, is professionally qualified and dedicated to his role. He is aware of the emotional demands on families and the importance of getting everything right at such a difficult time.
