Introducing our new physio… Alana!

Alana has recently joined Physio4u as a part time physiotherapist. She, and her family, have lived in West Melton for the past 3 years, and they love the close-knit community where her husband has joined the local volunteer fire brigade. Alana’s passion is sports physiotherapy and netball. She is the current Mainland Tactix netball physiotherapist and has worked in the Silver Ferns environment. She also really enjoys working with patients who are recovering following surgery.
Outside of work, Alana enjoys playing social netball (with Erin from reception) and volleyball, and having the odd weekend away, waterskiing, with the Westie Boaties club. She has two young girls, neither of which are into netball. And has a dream of one day finally finishing her Masters.

We are now open late 4 nights a week!
We have decided to extend our hours to 7pm on a Mon/Tues/Thurs AND Fri, meaning we can help so many more of you after work and afterschool duties are done!

As mentioned yesterday, Sam is unfortunately leaving us. We are extremely sad to see her go but know that she will have an amazing time overseas and wherever she ends up, they are beyond lucky to have her! We hope to see her back here one day!

The support I have received from you all has been awesome and I have been super grateful to have the trust of many of you to meet your family members as well. My journey for this year is taking me overseas, but I will be back in Canterbury again in the future and hopefully see you again!”

Happy new year everyone!
A wee update from us, we are very sad to let you all know that our superstar Physio, Sam is leaving us. Sam’s last day will be next Wednesday (17th). She’s been a fantastic part of our team and we wish her all the best.
Over the next couple of weeks we appreciate your patience and understanding while we transition and our new team members settle in.
We have also got an amazing locum filling in while I am on leave celebrating my wedding.
