At Disabilities Resource Centre we always keep a selection of travel brochures especially for the traveller with a disability (and especially for those who don't like websites!) so feel free to come in a and have a browse. There are several reputable tour companies in New Zealand offering great trips with an accessibility focus, here and overseas - but if you want to see your own country first, check out these ideas:

When you have a disability making sure it doesn't stop you from living life can be a fulltime challenge. This week, with the Christmas break racing towards us, we're going to share stories and tips for travelling with a disability - planes, hotels, transfers, accessible bathrooms and being comfortable out of your comfort zone!
