We've grown! Juliet and Anja are very pleased to welcome Katherine Cope to our clinic. Katherine has been with us for a few weeks now and it's a pleasure to work alongside her. Katherine is a UK-trained physiotherapist and worked in hand therapy in the UK before moving to New Zealand. We extend her the warmest of welcomes.

We know how difficult it can be to get in to see your GP in our current climate. If you have an injury to your elbow, forearm, wrist or hand you can see us without a referral. Our hand therapists can lodge ACC claims where appropriate and refer on for xrays or ultrasound scans if needed.

Stress on primary health care could be relieved by physiotherapists.

Following today's announcement that we are going down to level 2, we will be opening our doors from 8.30 Wednesday 8th September.
We are looking forward to seeing all our clients in person. We'll be in contact to rebook all of those who've had their appointments cancelled over the past 3 weeks.
At level 2 we do ask that everyone scans in using the QR code, including any support people with you. Please wear a mask (our therapists will be as well) when you come in. If you would prefer a telehealth appointment we can still arrange these. And as always, please phone to reschedule your appointment if you are unwell.

At level 4 our clinic is closed... if you have an appointment scheduled in the next 3 days we will be in contact to reschedule it for you. Fingers crossed we move back down levels just as quickly. But for now... stay safe everyone.

From 11.59pm Tuesday 17 August, all of New Zealand will move to Alert Level 4.

This measure will remain in place for 3 days until 11.59pm 20 August for all of New Zealand, with the exception of Auckland and the Coromandel Peninsula with both staying in Level 4 likely for the next 7 days.

This is a response to a community outbreak in Auckland which is currently under investigation and possibly linked to the Delta variant.

International evidence and science around the Delta variant shows that it is twice as infectious and more liable to cause severe illness.

The decision to change Alert Levels reinforces the need to take swift and robust action around the latest case to detect and stamp out the possibility of any further transmission.

Welcome back to Level One 😀
There wont be a lot of changes noted here... we will still have hand sanitiser available, QR code at the front door, and we still ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are unwell.

14/02/2021

At level 2 we will remain open for face-to-face appointments. Please continue to use hand sanitiser on entry, scan the QR code at the front door, and of course, stay home if feeling unwell.
We also ask that any support people/whanau provide their details for contact tracing (unless they scan in).
If you would prefer to have a telehealth appointment, or have any concerns, please give us a call.
