How to Get Started With Journaling

1. Forget the rules.
There's no "right way" to journal. Messy thoughts, bullet points, voice notes, or notes on your phone - you're writing for yourself and your eyes only.

2. Start with 5 minutes.
That's it. Just 5 minutes when you have space - morning coffee, before bed, whenever works for you and your busy schedule.

3. Use prompts when you're stuck.
Staring at a blank page is hard. Start with something simple like "Right now I'm feeling..." or "What I need today is..." and let it flow from there.

4. It's not about being creative.
You don't need to be poetic or profound. Journaling is about getting what's in your head OUT, not making it sound or look good.

5. Give yourself permission to skip days.
Life happens. Missing a day (or a week) doesn't mean anything. Just pick it back up when you can.
