What does carbon neutral actually mean?

Our Traffi gloves are carbon neutral which means every bit of CO2 released is offset by initiatives to reduce carbon production.

Specifically, this product is certified as carbon neutral from "Cradle to Gate". This means the carbon created from the beginning of its life cycle (raw material extraction or production) up to the point of manufacturing completion, before it is used or disposed of, has been completely offset.

5:37pm. Operating Theatre Room 5. It was a long, tough surgery. But we were finally done. As the surgical registrar, I dutifully stripped off the plastic coverings, drapes and disposable equipment off the anaesthetised patient. I headed over to the rubbish bag to get rid of it all, so I could un-scrub. Standing there over the rubbish bag, wrestling a huge clump of medical plastic waste in my hands, it hit me…where does all this waste end up?

The question turned into a ni**le, the ni**le into more questions. More questions turned into a quest for answers. The quest lead to a painfully confronting reality.
