'Vensa'

We have changed our patient portal from
‘Manage My Health’ to ‘Vensa’.

Vensa is an innovative and patient friendly portal that will allow you to do a number of things in your own time online such as:

· Book or cancel appointments online
· Organise healthcare for your whānau with the family ‘Care Circle’
· Check upcoming health recalls
· Request repeat prescriptions and select/pick up from your preferred pharmacy - this service requires prepayment
via Vensa (note: a repeat prescription will be processed within 48 hours of the request being received - Monday -
Friday)
· View your medications, allergies, and medical conditions
· View lab test results and other health documents like hospital discharge letters and referrals
· Look up your immunisation history
· See ACC claim details

How to join:

Those with Manage my Health will have been sent a link to transfer over to Vensa.
We will start sending all our other patients an email over the coming days with a signup link. It will take a couple of weeks to contact all patients. Some family members may receive their invite earlier than others.

We appreciate your patience during this transition while you wait to receive your email invite. Should you still not have received this by mid November please let us know.

Symptoms of measles usually take about 7 to 10 days to appear after you've caught the virus.

Here are some of the usual symptoms that may apear in the first few days of being unwell:

Fever (temperature above 38°C)
Runny nose (or blocked nose)
Cough
Loss of appetite
Sore and watery pink eyes
You may also get white spots inside your mouth.

A rash typically develops 3 to 7 days after the first symptoms.

The rash starts on your head or face, often at your hairline or behind your ears, and then spreads to your body and then to your arms and legs.

You usually feel most unwell a day or two after the appearance of the rash. You are no longer at risk of passing on measles to others 4 days after you developed your rash.

If you catch measles, you’re infectious (can spread the virus) from 4 days before the rash appears and for 4 days after the rash appears.

If you are concerned you may have measles, stay home and give us or Healthline a call.
