We are hiring! The Anchorage cafe is looking for one more person, a cafe all-rounder.
We would ideally like someone that is available for a mix of weekday and weekend work. Prior experience preferable but most importantly you’d need to be a good addition to our small team.
If you are a local and available now that would be a bonus as we will need you throughout the year. Sorry students.

This morning taste testing the Anchorage Cafe’s homemade Christmas fruit mince pies. Light pastry with a crunchy edge, fruit mince generously soaked in Christmas brandy. Delicious! Available for sale at our Cafe, $18 box of 6.🎄

The Anchorage Proudly Sponsors Waipu Golf Club’s 18-Hole Mixed Open Tournament

The Anchorage was delighted to sponsor the 18-Hole Mixed Open Tournament at Waipu Golf Club on Friday, 19th September.

It was a fantastic day, with an impressive number of participants travelling from near and far to join in the fun. Each player received a personal lunchbox delivered directly to them on the course — a well-received touch that added to the day’s enjoyment.

Generous prizes were awarded to the winners and several other participants, while every player received a coffee voucher to enjoy at our beautiful new café here at The Anchorage.

Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success!
