Today is a Friday. But it's not a Black Friday!

But yes, we will be running a Black Friday special this year.

As you'll know, if you're a regular customer of ours, we keep our prices as low as we can throughout the year, so we can't do the big flashy sales that the chain stores can pull off.

But we do like to recognise and thank you for your support of our small business by offering deals when we can.

We've already run our final storewide sale of the year, so the upcoming deal will be on our small gift-sized tubs and our magnesium oil sprays only.

🌱Why is this the Gardener's Trio?

Got any gardening plans for this weekend?

I think Labour weekend is meant to be the first weekend of the season to get the edibles planted.

Me? Still just weeding ...

it's been said (by people who know more about gardening than me) that Epsom salt helps boost seed germination, improves chlorophyll production (for greener leaves), encourages strong root growth and helps fruiting and flowering plants bloom better.

More ways you can use your Epsom salt than just in the bath!

As promised yesterday, here are some different ways you can use your Epsom salt during the summer months when you (hopefully!) don't need long, hot baths!

Softening foot scrub – combine with olive oil and essential oil.
Soothing foot soak – add a cupful to a tub of warm water.
Splinter removal – soak in Epsom salt to draw out the splinter.
Relieve mozzie bites and sunburn using a cold compress with 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt.
Exfoliating facial cleanse to give skin a hydrating boost.
This also works well on your body, especially rough patches on your elbows and ankles.
