Following the Maramataka, the Māori lunar calendar, is an important part of my practice when gathering the native plants to make my Kawakawa balms. Heeni's workshops and resources have played an huge role in my learning and understanding of Maramataka. It's incredibly sad to hear she is yet again having to go in to battle with cancer and she desperately needs funds to help her in this fight. 🌿 The Kawakawa Skin Balm is 100% Natural, using gentle oils (Sunflower & Coconut) infused with Kawakawa leaves. A drop of Mānuka essential oil is added, to super-boost the healing properties, and then beeswax, to form a balm ideal for topical skin issues... From cuts and grazes to tattoo/ta moko aftercare, old wounds & scarring, this balm has also also been effective in easing skin conditions such as eczema & psoriasis.
