TruYou is a reflection of a dedication to empowering clients with information and knowledge, and achieving the most natural results to help you look and feel great.
Since opening Truyou in 2019 the business has grown quickly, I am joined by Appearance Medicine colleagues colleagues Suzie White and Carol Coyne, as well as Penny Honey of The Brow Academy (formally BTW Brows). This collaboration allows us to offer comprehensive services in Appearance Medicine and Cosmetic Tattoo.
More recently, we have established specialist cosmetic training centre, Northland Cosmetic Academy which offers one-to-one and group training in specialist cosmetic procedures and cosmetic tattooing. Our new location at level 1, 105 Cameron Street in Whangarei is where we provide both client services and training for beauty professionals.
A little more about my experience in the industry...
I started my career as a Registered Nurse contracting in many different areas of the health sector including GP practice nursing and palliative care. I have previously owned a successful Appearance Medicine and Beauty Therapy clinic in Auckland. During my time within the industry I have gained a strong background in facial assessment and administering Botulinum toxin and Dermal fillers, as well as performing collagen induction skin corrective therapies such as Dermal Needling, Fractional CO2 Laser. I am also experienced in spider vein laser, hair removal and photo rejuvenation.
